Overview
Panchakarma is derived from an ancient Indian medical system called Ayurveda. According to Ayurveda, the human body is the derivative of basic elements like water, fire, air and earth which should be maintained in equal balance. Ayurvedic medicines heal the body in a completely different way than their counterparts of western biomedicines. Ayurvedic medicines heal the body by promoting health more than killing the disease. The study of cleansing the human body of unwanted waste after lubricating it is called Panchakarma Therapy. ‘Panch’ (meaning 5) and ‘karma’ (procedure), hence the course explains the five different procedures to heal your body.
The five therapies of Panchakarma are
*Vamana (Emesis)
*Virechana (Therapeutic purgation),
*Nasya (Nasal medication),
*Anuvasana Basti (Medicated oil enema)
*Niruha Basti (Herbal decoction enema).
After completing this course, you can apply for panchakarma therapist in ayurvedic clinics and panchakarma massage therapist and several other private and government jobs.
